We Are Not in Idaho Anymore!

As you may have guessed, we are not out west anymore and the blogger has been lax! We flew back from Phoenix on the 18th, spent a week back on the hard, and were launched on the 23rd of July. We had a terrific first sail north on the Chesapeake to the Great Wicomico River. Last night we treated ourselves to the best crabcakes (at least we think so), at the Crazy Crab Restaurant in Reedville. The odor from the menhaden processing plant was so bad after we finished dinner that we weighed anchor and motored over to the Sandy Point anchorage about 3 miles away. The heat has been unbearable. Today the temps are in the high 90s, but the heat index is well over 100 degrees. I guess we should have expected that, that's why cruisers go to Maine. Oh well, maybe next year. I'll post some pics from the trip, just to give you an overview.
