Ice Skating in Cocoa FL
We didn't actually ice skate, but there is an ice skating rink set up in Cocoa Florida! Cocoa is a neat town, very friendly people, cute shops, and a nice anchorage; except when the wind blows from the Southeast; which it did last night! We invited Hampton from "Snark", another IP owner who we met in Annapolis, over for a spaghetti dinner & cocktails last night. This morning we left the rolly anchorage by 0830 to do a short sail; yes we sailed, to Indian Harbor Beach in the mouth of the Banana River. This anchorage should provide better protection from the Southeast winds. We are going to dinghy ashore to check out the stores, etc.

We are also on an IP (IP 485 - sv Mary Elizabeth) doing the ICW south heading to the Bahamas (eventually!). We are a few days behind you; we're in St. Augstine now, but plan to be in Cocoa on Wednesday. Your pictures are great and we enjoy your blog. Maybe we'll see you on the waterway.
