Jim,
There is a "bridle" you can rig that may dampen the roll. Set your secondary anchor to leeward at an angle of approx 45-60 degrees from your primary anchor and back to your midship winch. Then crank the boat around bow into the waves. It's not 100% but it sure can help. We spent 5-6 days like that off Tobago and one wildest night off Nevis. It also helped that we could sleep thwartships in our huge V berth.

Oops. I don't think "setting your anchor to the lee side" was correct. In any event you want to swing your bow into the waves and your beam toward the other force affecting you.
It's been too long, I need to go out again!
