Waiting for Danny to go Away

A couple of days will turn into almost a week in Port Washington NY. With the approach of tropical storm; now tropical depression Danny, we decided to sit tight here. Our next stop will be Point Lookout NY, on the south shore of Long Island to visit with Jim's Mom, before we make our way to the Chesapeake. Port Washington is a very friendly harbor with lots of conveniences; helpful harbor patrol, water taxi, grocery stores, laundromat, and town moorings. Looking forward to better weather by the beginning of next week!
