Just Enjoying Miami & Biscayne Bay

It's hard to believe that 10 days have past since my last post. The weather here has been fantastic since the last cold front came through; high 70s and sunny. We stayed in Sunset Lake for a week and enjoyed south beach & Lincoln mall. One day we took a 4 mile dinghy ride through the Biscayne Canal, to Indian Creek, and all the way through the Collins Canal. On Monday we came back south to No Name Harbor for a pump out, and then went to Dinner Key to tie up to a ball for a couple of days. Got our mail there, explored Coconut Grove. The mooring field facility is pretty nice. Good showers, laundry, and launch service - $20.00 a day. Yesterday we left in the afternoon and met "Grey Hound" (friends Anne & Dick), in the middle of Biscayne Bay! We anchored by the Key Biscayne Yacht Club and dinghied over to the Boaters Grill in No Name for dinner.
