Preparing to go to The Bahamas

We had planned to spend February in the Miami area; relaxin', and taking care of things like taxes, I needed to have some routine bloodwork, going to the boat show, and getting things ready for our trip to the Abacos. We plan to leave around the end of February and spend around 6 weeks there. Alot of our time has been spent anchored in Sunset Lake - it is a peaceful spot, well protected, and close to the dinghy dock. Yesterday, Valentines Day - we motored down to No Name Harbor to do laundry & pumpout the holding tank - how romantic! It took 8 hours to complete this task. On the way back to our spot, we stopped to say hi to "Grey Hound" - anchored by the Miami Yacht Club. We did recently buy ourselves a new camera; hopefully one that works reliably. Jim also celebrated another birthday on February 11th - we had a nice day beginning and ending with food! for breakfast, we went to the Bay Supermarket cafeteria for eggs, toast, french fries, 3/4 lb of bacon, and coffee for $5! For dinner we went upscale to the Sardinia restaurant for delicious scallops and lasagna.
