Land Time for Laurie
We arrived in East Greenwich. RI last Tuesday after stops in Wickford, RI & Dutch Island/Jamestown. "Kismet" will reside on mooring EG100 until 8/26/11; while Laurie goes to CA to visit Mom, Elena, sister Gail, and Janet& Dennis. This is a great spot since friends Marianne & Ray live here, and their hospitality is so appreciated. Yesterday we actually did a daysail! Sailed 20 miles (with tacking)over to Bristol & back. East Greenwich is a very protected harbor - hardly a breeze! That means no wind power - the monitor of amps is not happy!
