Waiting For Irene

Hello To All
I had great time in LA - and a very easy plane trip back to RI. Amazingly, both flights were on time and there was an empty middle seat on both legs! I arrived back just in time to prepare for Irene's arrival this weekend. We are hopefully safely tucked away on a beefed up mooring ball in East Greenwich Cove, RI. Today we spent the entire day stripping the boat of sails, dodger, bimini, etc, etc, ..... It was soooo hot! We packed up the computer, all important documents, and clothing, etc for a 3 day stay at friends; Ray & Marianne's house. We are hopeful that in little more than 48 hours that this will all be over - and just a scary time with no damage! We are thinking of all our friends, and hope everyone will weather this storm & be safe and sound!

Glad to hear you are safely off the boat and that Kismet is as secure as possible. Let us know how it went after Irene passes. Hopefully all will be well.
